SSC offer a diverse range of sandblasted stone products :- Dimensional slate, sandstone and granite monoliths, and sign blanks are cut and prepared to required spec at UK quarries, then finished at SSC using skilled sandblasting techniques to create high quality stone signs and artworks. Glaciated granite rounds are used to create our rustic boulder signs, markers and bollards. For interpretive artworks large natural chunks of sandstone are prepared with a cut face to take text and graphic which can be in relief or recessed.
Interpretation panels and commemorative plaques are produced on riven & honed slate, limestone and polished granite. The later is increadibly durable and will out live you and I. If you want permenant panels - the polished granite is the product for you! Decorative paving / Pavement art is produced using natural riven pavers.This is used to great effect as there is a natural colour contrast between the natural riven surface and the blasted areas which makes the graphics stand out well and gives a hand carved effect. Poems and inscriptions can be spread across tiled areas. Stone inscriptions, standing stones, garden features and bespoke stone features are all availble from SSC.
